Horseshoe Bend in Page, Arizona at golden hour is nothing short of magical. Add in a gorgeous bride and groom and 60 of their closest family and friends bathed in the warm desert light and you have something like a dream. Sheri + James said their joyful, tearful “I dos” earlier this month canyon side and I had the honor of being there to capture it all.
Here we are in the heart of a frigid winter (even for us Floridians at times) and I’m dreaming of warmer days. In reflecting on the last year I took some time to note things that had given me life or drained me in the past. (It’s an effort in aiding in decision making for this “decision fatigued” gal right here. And the idea is all thanks to Emily P. Freeman and her “The Next Right Thing” podcast!) Something that undeniable breathed life in to my work and inspiration was the process of shooting creatively with film. Lake Placid Florida is seriously Central Florida's hidden gem. With rolling hills and lakes abounding and the cutest little quaint downtown full of stroll-able streets, cafes and the most eclectic collection of murals you ever did see it's a photographers dream. And then... and then... there is the dreamiest of sunsets over a glass-like lake. Put this adorable pair up in the mix and we have the makings of a perfect engagement session. Laura Lee and James tie the knot this weekend and I just had to share with you all a little peek into their engagement session which had stops at all of Lake Placid's most beautiful spots including the lakeside family home where they will be saying "I do" tomorrow!

Congrats to Hannah and Jason who tied the knot this past weekend at the gorgeous Windsong Ranch surrounded by their nearest and dearest! What a sweet treat it was to be a part of Lindsey and Corbin's wedding celebration last weekend as they said "I do"! And an extra special treat was getting to revisit an old familiar road where two years ago I walked down the "aisle" to my hubby and started our marriage journey together!
