These two are getting married tomorrow! And its my first wedding back since the arrival of our baby girl last month. So here we go! A new rhythm of life and work with a little one. Good thing I have an incredible group of folks to support and help along the way (shout out to the super hands-on hubby, grandma and my trusty, talented photo assistant Emme!). I’m so thankful for the incredible couples who continue to ask me to be a part of telling their story.

Back to this session (which seems nearly a world away at this point)… Early last fall Dennis, Cassandra and I hit the wooded trails around a sparkling lake in a local nature preserve to capture these sweet photos of the two celebrating their engagement. I couldn’t get over the lovely light, Cassandra’s perfect dress and the ways these two are so evidently in love and ready to do life together as one.

Did I mention that we’ve know these two for quite some time as they are another couple brought together by The Great Commission Bible Institute and with my husband officiating the wedding we’ve been able to get to know them as a pair through pre-marital counseling. Plus they will also be our neighbors in their freshly renovated RV on the lakeside GCBI campus. Needless to say this pair and their big day tomorrow hold a special place in our hearts.
